Scorpions control

Although most people have a tremendous fear of the bite or sting of these arthropods, we generally underestimate the danger from their venomous bite or sting.

The Scorpion loves to live around rocks, sand, and trees. However, they are very adaptable and have been found living in some very unusual places. These arthropods usually live outside residential buildings and can be found in yards, among rocks and bushes. However sometimes these arthropods invade residential homes and cause mishaps which frequently end in tragedy.

One of the central features that is most characteristic of these arthropods is the speed of impact and the extent of damage to the victim’s nervous system or tissues. They are closely related to ticks, mites, and spiders. All scorpions are venomous, but only about one quarter of them has venom that is potent enough to make someone very ill or cause death. Each species of scorpion has its own type of venom which is why the toxicity levels vary.

They use their venom for two purposes: hunting and self defense, but scorpions will not hesitate to use their venom when they feel threatened so if a scorpion is detected, it is imperative to notify an authorized pest control company immediately.

SCORPIONS CONTROL STRATEGIES:

PEST CONTROL OPERATIONS ARE COMPLEMENTARY TREATMENT USED TO PREVENT THE EXPANSION OF SCORPIONS.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES THAT ARE RECOMMENDED:
  • Preventing the formation of moisture conditions that are favorable habitats for arthropods.
  • Measures should be taken to install nets, curtains, and carefully seal doors and windows.
  • Scorpion control operations against venomous arthropods are used as complementary prevention treatment, and applied by spraying pesticides in advance into cracks, rocks and low bushes where scorpions live.
  • Also spray pesticides in advance along panels, walls and bookcases as well as clothes cupboards.
